East Renfrewshire Council is seeking a cleaner to perform a range of duties designed to keep facilities clean and hygienic, including washing, bin emptying, sweeping, dusting and vacuuming with appropriate equipment. The role requires ability to work on site and follow council cleaning standards.

The ideal candidate will have cleaning experience or a willingness to learn, and an interview will be conducted in person as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is preferred, but applicants willing to learn will be considered.

• Carry out cleaning duties including washing, emptying litter bins, sweeping, dusting and vacuum cleaning with powered equipment.
• Maintain premises in a clean and hygienic condition, including toilets.
