Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland seeks a dedicated Cleaner to maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments across our sites. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, handle waste, replenish supplies and follow COSHH and health & safety procedures. A DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Prior experience is helpful but not essential, with a flexible and dependable approach valued. You will work as part of a team and independently, ensuring high standards are met and customer interactions

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK and DBS check (willingness to undergo)
• Desirable cleaning experience in commercial/public environments
• Good understanding of cleaning methods, equipment and materials
• Awareness of health & safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual and flexible with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and waste disposal
• Clean offices, washrooms, corridors and welfare areas to required standards
• Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, towels and soap
• Follow all health and safety and cleaning procedures at all times
• Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Report maintenance issues to the supervisor
• Work efficiently to meet agreed timescales
• Maintain a professional, courteous approach with clients and colleagues
• Support site-specific cleaning requirements as directed by management
