Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking reliable Facilities Cleaners to maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment across the site. The role demands pride in cleanliness to contribute to a healthy workplace for staff and visitors.

This position offers day and evening shifts (6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm) on a 5-out-of-7 rotation. A driving licence and access to a car are essential due to on-site access constraints. Training is provided for those new to cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a driving licence and have access to a car.
• Cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; full training is provided.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, including outdoor areas around the site.
• Willingness to handle cleaning products and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste according to facility policies.
• Clean and disinfect toilets.
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring proper use and storage.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to Facilities Manager promptly.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.

Job description

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Cleaners to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment across our facility. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and understand the importance of cleanliness in creating a positive and healthy environment for employees and customers.

Pay Rate- £18 per hour

OWN CAR IS ESSENTIAL TO ACCESS SITE AS THERE IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with facility policies.
• Clean and disinfect toilets
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring proper use and storage.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager promptly.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Due to the location of the site you must hold a driving licence and have access to a car. Unfortunately there is no public transport available.
• Cleaning experience would be beneficial but is not essential as full training is provided
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as there will be a requirement to clean outdoor areas around the site.
• Happy to work with cleaning products and cleaning machinery.

Hours of Work

• Standard shifts are 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm on a rotation 5 days out of 7, you must be flexible within these hours
