Job summary

PK Education is seeking reliable Bank Caretakers to support day-to-day operation and maintenance of school sites across Mansfield. This flexible, as-needed role fits around other commitments and helps ensure educational environments run smoothly.

Responsibilities include site inspections, basic maintenance, cleaning, opening/closing premises, and assisting with events. DBS check preferred and driving commitment to health and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaker or facilities roles preferred but not essential.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks safely and effectively.
• Good awareness of health and safety practices.

• Open and secure school premises as required

• Assist with room setups, furniture movement, and preparation for school events and activities
• Maintain external areas including pathways, entrances, and outdoor spaces
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site‑specific regulations

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
