Facilities Assistant - Wakefield
Summary

This role is all about using your practical skills and attention to detail to look after a place that people love.

We're looking for a Facilities Assistant at Nostell to help keep the whole place in good condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit.

Hours, Duration, Salary
  • Hours: 676 hours a year (average 13 hours per week, includes weekends & bank holidays)
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Salary: £12.25 an hour

The ambitious team are focused on making Nostell Priory one of Yorkshire’s most high profile visitor attractions and are looking for creative hard-working people who will bring ideas and energy to the property.

What you'll be doing

You’ll help with the day-to-day presentation of the National Trust’s buildings and outdoor spaces.

You’ll be turning your hand to all sorts of cleaning and minor bits of maintenance, making sure that all our facilities are kept in good working order.

You'll also be asked to help with some manual work such as unloading deliveries.

Duties such as cleaning the visitor facilities, sweeping and litter-picking, both inside and outdoors.

You’ll be aiming for the highest standards of customer service everywhere you look after, and this includes speaking to people as they visit and helping them with any queries.

You might also get involved with general maintenance work and helping other teams if they need extra support.
