Start Date: Monday, 24th November 2025

Contract: 3 months (temporary)

Hours: 9:30am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Fully office-based

Are you a practical, organised individual who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We're looking for a friendly and reliable Facilities Assistant to join our team for a three-month temporary position, supporting the day-to-day operations of our office and ensuring a safe, well-organised working environment.

Key Responsibilities
Reception Support
  • Provide cover at reception when volunteers are unavailable.
  • Coordinate the volunteer rota and assist with volunteer training.
Vehicle Fleet Administration
  • Manage vehicle bookings, mileage logs, MOTs, services, and insurance records.
  • Organise regular cleaning and safety checks.
Health & Safety
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting activities.
  • Maintain risk assessment records and ensure First Aid kits are regularly replenished.
Stock & Supplies
  • Process purchase requisitions and orders.
  • Monitor and replenish stationery, uniforms, and merchandise supplies.
General Administration
  • Organise merchandise dispatches and event equipment sign-out.
  • Prepare meeting rooms for VIP visits and arrange refreshments.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post, including franking and collections.
Other Duties
  • Provide ad hoc support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Occasionally lift and move boxes or stock (handling aids provided for larger items).
About You

You'll bring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working independently, and supporting colleagues across a range of tasks. Experience in facilities or administrative support would be an advantage.
