Job summary

CH&CO is recruiting a dedicated Facilities Assistant to support the smooth running of the operations on a part-time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week.

As a Facilities Assistant, you will maintain a high standard of facility management with the wider facilities team, and have opportunities to develop your career within a company that values its people and rewards commitment.

5 out of 7 days shifts, with opportunities for progression within CH&CO and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar facilities role.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure exterior of the site is clean, tidy and well-maintained.
• Assist facilities team with contractor sign-in/out and adherence to site policies.
• Open and/or close the building as required.
• Represent CH&CO and maintain a positive brand image.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Responsible for ensuring the exterior of the site is in a clean, tidy and reasonable state of repair, inclusive of general external maintenance tasks.
• Assisting the facilities team with the control of contractor's process, inclusive of ensuring contractors are signed in correctly, and signed out, and that everyone is adhering to site policies and rules
• Responsible for opening and/or closing the building where required
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
