About The Role

As a Facilities Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring that the site is well maintained and that all deliveries and shipments are managed efficiently. You’ll support the Maintenance Supervisor in carrying out daily and weekly checks, assist with building upkeep, and make sure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery to recipients
  • Keep the goods-in area tidy and well organised
  • Support building maintenance tasks, including basic repairs and general upkeep
  • Conduct regular site checks (e.g. shredding bins, photocopiers, taps) and report issues promptly
  • Assist with office moves, room redecoration, and minor plumbing tasks
  • Escort contractors and visitors as required
  • Support emergency procedures, such as fire alarm evacuations
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and follow all site Health & Safety and security procedures
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive team. You’ll have great communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a positive, can‑do attitude.

Experience in general maintenance or painting would be an advantage, and if you have a forklift licence, even better but if not, training can be provided. Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems are also important.
