A leading UK food supplier is seeking a Health & Safety Administrator to support their Food and Health Safety team. Your role will involve maintaining crucial H&S documents, managing document control, and supporting audits and investigations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams. This position is based at one of the sites in the UK.
The Health & Safety Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the team by:
Maintaining the Food and H&S shared area documents, ensuring all Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, policies, and the H&S training matrix are up to date and accessible.
Managing document control to ensure version accuracy and audit readiness.
Supporting follow-up actions from Fire Risk Assessments, Safe & Legal Audits, enforcement contact, claims, accident investigations, and pest control audits.
Assisting in the preparation, distribution, and documentation of H&S meetings.
Providing day-to-day clerical support and responding to routine queries.
Collaborating with colleagues across the group to ensure consistent application of H&S procedures.
This position will be based in one of our sites in the UK.
You will be part of the Food and Health and Safety team that manages a wide range of responsibilities, including audits, risk assessments, training compliance, and incident investigations. This position will provide critical administrative support, ensuring the team can maintain high standards in documentation, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance while focusing on strategic risk management.
