Job summary

Clear Voice is actively recruiting face-to-face freelance interpreters for Tigrinya in Liverpool. You will work on self-employed contracts to meet client needs across social services, legal, medical and other sectors, delivering accurate, confidential, impartial interpreting.

We welcome experienced interpreters with relevant DPSI or DPI qualifications, NRPSI or CIOL membership, and a strong commitment to professional standards. DBS and references are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ interpretting experience.
• Eligible to work in the UK and able to provide a valid DBS certificate.
• Two references.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional interpreting services on-site, by telephone, and via video.
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all assignments.
• Deliver accurate, culturally appropriate interpretations while upholding our Code of Conduct.
