Job summary

McMullen Façades is seeking a Planner to join their team. The role involves supporting the planning function, creating and managing detailed project schedules and coordinating information across multiple entities on UK construction projects.

Key requirements include an HNC or higher in construction/engineering, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong communication and drawing-reading abilities. This is a site-facing planning position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Microsoft Office (essential).
• Quick learner with good attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage detailed project schedules for planning function.
• Maintain and coordinate information from multiple entities.
• Collaborate with senior management, project teams, design teams and sub-contractors to keep data up to date.
• Track progress of live sites and pre-construction phases.
• Apply planning standards and ensure adoption across programmes.
• Be a HS&E certified professional to be on sites.
• Familiarise with cohesion between details and final products.
• Document and archive planning documents.
• Attend meetings with Main Contractors, Suppliers, etc.
• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and site staff for project duration.
• Perform other duties as required by senior staff.
