Salary: $20.00 - $22.00

Job Overview

The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for constructing items by cutting, shaping, and assembling various materials. The Fabricator/Welder will work with blueprints and specifications, using hand and power tools, and sometimes heavy machinery, to create products according to design.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assemble and fabricate metal parts according to blueprints, schematics, and work orders
  • Perform welding tasks, using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
  • Operate various tools and equipment such as forklifts, press brake machines, and pipe threading machines
  • Rig and move heavy materials and equipment as needed
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in metal fabrication and welding is desired
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with operating forklifts, overhead cranes, metal shear, and ironwork
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
  • Knowledge of various welding techniques with carbon steel and stainless steel
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Ability to pass welding test as well as OSHA Safety training test
  • AWS Welder Certification is
