Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking a Fabricator/Welder for the Mountsorrel site near Leicester. You will work with the engineering and maintenance teams, focusing on welding and fabrication of brackets, trays, guarding and related components.

The role involves stick MMA welding (MMA/MIG desirable), with hours Mon-Thu 8:00–16:00 and Fri 6:00–16:00, plus overtime opportunities. Generous pension, life assurance, onsite parking and enhanced parental leave are provided.

Qualifications

• Competent in stick welding/MMA; some MIG welding beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld components for the engineering and maintenance teams.
• Fabricate brackets, trays and new machinery guarding; weld chutes and install with maintenance engineers.
