Framatome UK is seeking a Fabricator to join our Avonmouth workshop in the nuclear sector. You will fabricate and weld stainless and carbon steel components, interpreting detailed drawings and weld maps to produce high-integrity fabrications in a safety-focused environment.

As we expand our service offerings across the UK nuclear industry, we're aiming to reach 600 dedicated professionals in 2026.Whether you're an experienced Welder, Fabricator, Plater, Inspector, or other skilled trades professional, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects while developing your career within a supportive and growing organisation.## Your missionsWe are seeking 4 Fabricators to join our team in Avonmouth.This role will support the delivery of key projects within the nuclear sector, working in a safety-focused environment where quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.What You’ll Be DoingAs a Fabricator, you will:Support the delivery of manufacturing scopes of work through fabrication/welding and associated workshop activities ensuring business needs and objectives are satisfied.* Understand and interpret engineering drawings to produce high-integrity Stainless Steel fabrications within the nuclear sector.* Promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.* Attend Daily Action Brief ensuring all daily risks and activities are throroughly understood.* Provide assistance in the continuous development of fabrication and welding processes / procedures.* Ensure workshop activities instructed by Workshop Supervisor / Production Manager are completed in accordance with workshop schedule.* Provide input with internal NCRs and Observations when requested.* Work closely with other workshop staff i.e. Welders, General Operatives, Storeman, Quality Inspectors.## You areWhat are we looking for?We’re interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate:* Proven knowledge and experience of producing Stainless Steel / Carbon Steel weld configurations and material preparation as required.* Strong commitment to safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.* Competent in reading, understanding and interpreting engineering drawings / weld maps / specifications.* Experience in working to processes, procedures and specifications.* Questioning attitude.* Good team working skills.* Close attention to detail.* Ability to work in a team as well as under own initiative with a can-do attitude.Salary: £19.50-£25.68 per hourWe recognise that people gain skills and experience through a variety of routes.
