Job summary

D R Newitt & Associates are seeking a Fabrication Engineer for a permanent position in the water industry. The role includes installation of wastewater treatment plants at client premises, welding components in the workshop and on site, and assembling equipment in the workshop.

You will attend breakdowns at client premises, carry out repairs and maintenance to water treatment plant components, complete service reports and onsite paperwork, and support service engineers while keeping the workshop

Qualifications

Experience installing wastewater treatment plants at client premises.
Welding of components and assemblies in workshop and on site.
Maintenance and repair of water treatment plant components.
Ability to attend breakdowns at client sites and complete service reports.

Responsibilities

Installation of wastewater treatment plants at client’s premises
Welding of components and assemblies in the workshop and on site
Assembly of equipment in the workshop
Attend breakdowns at client’s premises
Repairs and maintenance to client’s water treatment plants at their premises
Service reports and onsite paperwork
Assisting service engineers
Repairing/maintaining components in workshop
General workshop maintenance
