Guardian Jobs is seeking an accomplished Fabric Product Manager for a luxury interiors brand. You will own key fabric categories, manage supplier relationships, and guide product development from sampling through to commercial and quality control.

You will lead the fabric team, oversee budgets, stock quality, and documentation, ensuring high standards across the collection in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience within textiles or fabrics, with some people or process management.
  • Strong technical understanding of fabric production, quality and compliance.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product costs, pricing and margins across the fabric collection.
  • Build strong relationships with mills and suppliers.
  • Act as the technical expert for the fabric collection, advising on specifications, quality standards and product suitability.
  • Maintain accurate product information, master sample books and collection records.
  • Oversee product compliance and certification, keeping documentation up to date.
  • Develop and improve product processes and SOPs to increase efficiency.
  • Manage stock quality, including stock takes, quality checks and supplier issue resolution.
  • Lead and develop the product and sampling team with direction and training.
  • Manage the sampling process including budgets, supplier performance and delivery timelines.

With a strong reputation across the global architecture and interior design community, the studio has built a loyal following for its timeless approach to design and exceptional craftsmanship. They are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Fabric Product Manager to join their highly regarded team and take ownership of key product categories across their fabric division. This is a varied and key role, offering the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle, from supplier relationships and sampling through to commercial, technical and quality management. Working closely with both internal teams and an established network of exceptional suppliers, you will play a central role in maintaining the quality, integrity and development of the collection. You will also oversee product and sampling, ensuring the highest standards are upheld across every stage of the process. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock quality, including stock takes, quality checks, write-offs and resolving issues with suppliers and internal teams
  • Lead and develop the product and sampling team, providing direction, support and training
  • Manage the sampling process including budgets, supplier performance and delivery timelines
Key Skills / Requirements:
  • 3–5 years’ experience within textiles or commercial fabrics, ideally with some people or process management experience
  • Strong technical understanding of fabric production, quality and compliance
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Confident building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent Excel and systems skills
  • Clear and confident communicator who can balance competing priorities
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to take ownership and see issues through to resolution
