Job summary

Avanade is seeking a Fabric Engineer in the UK to design, build, and scale analytics platforms using Microsoft Fabric and related Azure services. You will deliver end-to-end data engineering solutions for diverse clients and mentor junior engineers across engagements.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Python/Scala/PySpark, strong data modelling knowledge, and proven ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven Microsoft Fabric delivery experience and data engineering background.
• Hands-on with Python, Scala or PySpark, SQL and data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
• Mentor team members and evangelise best practices across clients and colleagues.
• Continuously develop technical skills across Fabric and AI technologies and earn relevant certifications.
• Work directly with high-profile clients to understand requirements and present solutions to senior stakeholders.
