Qualifications

  • Qualified in Plumbing (NVQ Level 2+), Electrical (18th Edition, NVQ Level 3), or Mechanical/HVAC (F-Gas or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the East Midlands and respond to out-of-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PPM and reactive maintenance across building fabric, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting site infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including materials and time.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs and breakdowns when required.
  • Liaise with site contacts, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Support minor installation projects and building improvement works.

Mobile Fabric Engineer – East Midlands (Nottingham Preferred)

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on qualifications) + Company Vehicle
Location: East Midlands – Ideally Nottingham
Job Type: Full-time, Mobile Role

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mobile Fabric Engineer to join our facilities management team, supporting multiple commercial and high-profile sites across the East Midlands. This role involves travelling between locations to carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on building fabric and related systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform PPM and reactive maintenance across building fabric, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting site infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal procedures.
