Job summary

An established FM company in Derby is seeking a Fabric Engineer for a temp to perm role. The position offers a pay rate of £22-£24 per hour with permanent salary potential of £32,000. Responsibilities include general building maintenance tasks such as repairs and response to reactive works. Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fabric or general building maintenance environment.
• Good knowledge of PPM routines and general building fabric repairs.
• Relevant qualifications or proven practical experience in a similar role.
• Ability to carry out tasks independently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive works within the team.
• Perform painting and decorating as needed.
• Repair floor and wall coverings.
• Carry out ceiling tile repairs and replacements.
• Complete fire door replacements and repairs.

Skills

Experience in fabric or general building maintenance

Job description

We are looking for a Fabric Engineer to join the team of an established FM company in the Derby area on a temp to perm basis. Our pay rate is £22-£24 per hour, paid weekly via umbrella. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00. Temp to Perm (permanent salary £32,000). Derby - Static Role.

Responsibilities

• Responding to reactive works within the team
• Painting and decorating as needed
• Repairing floor and wall coverings
• Carrying out ceiling tile repairs and replacements
• Performing other building and installation works as required
• Accountable for lighting, general lamp changes, filter changes on AHUs/FCUs, and basic plumbing requirements
• Completing fire door replacements and repairs

• Previous experience in a fabric or general building maintenance environment
• Good knowledge of PPM routines and general building fabric repairs
• Relevant qualifications or proven practical experience in a similar role
