Job summary

A leading facilities provider in the UK is seeking a fabric maintenance engineer for a temporary position in South Kensington. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in fabric maintenance, strong skills in general trades, and the ability to work effectively in a commercial environment. This role requires a client-facing approach and offers regular hours with weekend shifts. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years fabric maintenance experience in a commercial environment.
• Background in general trades like painting, carpentry, or plastering.
• Must provide at least 2 references from recent work.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks at a commercial building.
• Assist M&E engineers with related work.

Job description

I am currently recruiting for a fabric maintenance engineer for atemporary positioninSouth Kensington.

To be suitable for this role you must meet the below criteria:

1. Have a minimum of 3 years fabricmaintenance experience in a commercial environment.
2. Have a background in general trades ie. painting/ carpentry/ plastering.
3. Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references from work completed in the past 5 years.
4. Have your own safety boots and basic hand tools.

My client are one of thelargest facilities providers in the UK and the successful fabric engineer willbe based at a commercial building in Kensington.

Theworking hours are 9am-5pm/ Mon-Fri and also working a weekend every 2 weeks with 2 days off in the week.

Your duties will include but not be limited to general maintenance, flushing, making good, hanging doors, changing door locks, painting, assisting M& E engineersetc.

My client are looking for a client facing fabric engineer with a good attitude to work and advanced knowledge of general maintenance/ building services.
