Job summary

Ingentive, a Microsoft Elite Partner, is seeking a Fabric Consultant with Azure and Power BI expertise to join our data engineering team in London. You will design and build robust data pipelines, optimize ETL workflows, and implement scalable data architectures to unlock insights across the business.

You'll collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders, write clean Python code, and contribute to AI-enabled analytics initiatives while benefiting from remote-working options and a strong

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data engineering with Azure Synapse/ADF/Databricks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or willingness to learn.
• Proficient in Python for data manipulation.
• Interest in data science and potential in predictive analytics or ML.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for workflow optimisation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a consultancy setting.
• Experience with data modelling and Kimball methodology.
• DP-600 Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification.
• DP-700 Fabric Data Engineer Associate certification.

Responsibilities

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Proven experience in data engineering with exposure to Azure Synapse or Azure Data Factory or Databricks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to its ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Python programming with a focus on data manipulation and engineering.
• A genuine interest in data science and a drive to expand your skillset into predictive analytics, machine learning, or statistical modelling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for optimising workflows.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to thrive in a dynamic consultancy environment.

Objectives and Responsibilities:

You’ll work across the areas below, with guidance from an Innovation Architect and in line with Ingentive's delivery standards. The mix will vary by engagement:
