Job summary

WeDoTech in the United Kingdom is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Architect for a 6-month contract. You will own the end-to-end Fabric architecture, guiding the platform across Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse and Data Warehouse technologies, including data ingestions and pipelines.

You will define standards, migration roadmaps, and security/governance frameworks, collaborating with Data Engineers, BI and senior leadership to deliver a scalable enterprise data platform with visibility across ERP,

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Fabric architecture in large enterprises.
• Experience with Fabric components: OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse.
• Proficient in Azure data architecture, Power BI, SQL and data modelling.
• Knowledge of medallion architectures, security, governance and lineage.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Microsoft Fabric architecture across Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse and Data Warehouse technologies; define data ingestion and transformation patterns.
• Shape Power BI architecture and semantic models; apply data modelling and medallion architecture principles.
• Establish CI/CD, security, governance and lineage, and plan migration of existing workloads into Fabric.
