Job summary

Pontoon in the United Kingdom is seeking an F5 SME to assist in the study and design of F5's. This role is more analytical than hands-on configuration and sits within the Delivery team of the Core Infrastructure Platform.

You will rapidly assimilate domain knowledge, work independently, and collaborate effectively. The position is hybrid with three UK base locations, and offers a 6-month contract with a daily rate of £650.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, configuring, testing and maintaining F5 devices.
• Proficiency with F5 Big-IP modules: LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, AWAF.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub or similar CI/CD tools.
• Cloud deployment across private and public environments.
• Strong networking knowledge: IP routing, firewalls.
• Agile experience with Jira.
• Python programming and enterprise integrations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design, configure, test and maintain F5 devices.
• Support build/deploy of technologies for private and public clouds.
• Contribute to enterprise applications for banking operations.
• Apply agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
