Job summary

Tiro Associates seeks an F1 Performance Engineer for confidential search across the UK, Europe, and the USA. You will perform vehicle performance analysis, optimise setups at track and factory, run lap-time simulations, and prepare driver-in-the-loop simulations while analysing tyre performance and energy management.

Candidates should have top-tier motorsport experience (F1 preferred), strong vehicle dynamics knowledge, and coding skills in Python/MATLAB.

Qualifications

• F1 or top level motorsport performance experience.
• F1 race team or power unit experience preferred.
• Trackside travel required across seasons.
• Strong understanding of tyres, aero balance and suspension.
• Experience with lap-time simulation and vehicle modelling.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle performance analysis and setup optimisation at track and factory.
• Lap time simulation, vehicle models and data analysis.
• Driver-in-the-loop simulator preparation and running.
• Analyse tyre performance and energy management strategies.
• Collaborate with aero, vehicle dynamics, race engineering and strategy.
