Job summary

Red Bull Technology invites undergraduate students to join the F1 Controls team for a one-year placement starting summer 2027 in Milton Keynes. The role targets Mechanical, Control System and Automotive Engineering students with strong mathematics and analytical skills; knowledge of control system principles and Matlab/Simulink is advantageous.

You will develop problem solving, teamwork, planning and communication while working on software-hardware interactions and data-supported decisions

Qualifications

• Targeted at Mechanical, Control System and Automotive Engineering students.
• Knowledge of control system principles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Understand interactions between software and hardware in electro-hydraulic control systems.
• Support and data analysis of race, test and dynamometer events.
• Develop automated routines and processes for data analysis and metrics generation.
• Provide real-time event support.
