A local educational institution in England is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support the classroom environment and contribute to the welfare of students. You will provide assistance to teachers, support individual learning needs, and engage in activities that foster children's emotional well-being. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to education and child development, ensuring a nurturing atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported. The successful candidate will work with teachers to support teaching and learning providing general and specific assistance to pupils and staff under the direction, guidance and direct supervision of the classroom teacher or Practitioner in EYFS.
To provide support for the student’s welfare and support the inclusion of students in all aspects of school life.
The duties and responsibilities in this job description are not exhaustive. Any such duties should not substantially change the general character of the post. Duties and responsibilities outside of the general scope of this grade of post will be with the consent of the postholder.
