Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to support children in Early Years settings across Bury. You will work with experienced practitioners to develop communication, social skills and early literacy.

Role involves supporting structured activities, play-based learning and phonics, while building positive relationships in a busy classroom. Contract offers day-to-day supply with longer-term placements, a dedicated consultant, competitive pay and professional development.

EYFS Teaching Assistant - Bury

Are you passionate about helping young children learn and develop? Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting Teaching Assistants for Early Years settings across Bury.

This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced Early Years practitioners and support children as they develop their communication, social skills, confidence and early academic understanding.

You could be supporting children through structured activities, play-based learning, phonics, early mathematics and everyday classroom routines.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and able to create positive relationships with young children while maintaining a safe and stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Previous Early Years experience is desirable, although candidates with nursery, childcare or relevant youth work experience may also be suitable.

You should be patient, energetic and comfortable working in a busy classroom where children are learning through a combination of structured activities and exploration.
