Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistants for January opportunities in Nursery and Reception classes across Greenwich.

You will support learning through play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework, help develop early phonics, communication and numeracy skills, and assist with observations and daily routines while supporting children with SEND and EAL. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and EYFS team to help children thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 3-5.
• Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification desired.
• Understanding of EYFS framework.
• Caring, proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• Knowledge of phonics programmes such as Read Write Inc. would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Location: Greenwich, South East London

Start Date: January 2027

Salary: £90-£110 per day

Contract: Full-time, long-term opportunities

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
