Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Frome, starting September 2026. This role supports the transition from Reception into Year 1 and involves helping new pupils settle into the EYFS cohort, with a focus on nurturing development in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS (or equivalent), have EYFS teaching experience, and be committed to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous EYFS teaching experience.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is desirable.
• Safeguarding training is mandatory.

EYFS Teacher – Frome

Start Date: September 2026

Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunity Available

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Frome, starting in September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner to support pupils through the important transition from Reception into Year 1, while also playing a key role in welcoming and settling the new EYFS cohort.

Responsibilities

• Have previous experience teaching within EYFS
• Be confident supporting the transition between Reception and Year 1
• Create a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment
• Be proactive, adaptable and committed to high‑quality early years education
• Be prepared to support the onboarding and settling‑in of the new Reception cohort

What's on offer

• £125 - £150 per day, depending on experience
• Full‑time position available, with part‑time considered for the right candidate
• Initial contract for the first term, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate
• No planning responsibilities required at this stage
• Ongoing support from a dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Previous EYFS teaching experience
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is desirable
• Safeguarding training is mandatory
