Job summary

St Luke's Catholic Academy in Essex is seeking an EYFS Practitioner to join our Nursery. The role is part-time (32.5 hours per week) with permanent term-time hours. You will deliver safe, high quality early years education and work closely with families to support each child's development.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Childcare & Education or equivalent, and be committed to safeguarding and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Childcare & Education or equivalent.
• The successful candidate will provide safe, high quality education and care to Nursery children.
• Undertake a key person role with specific children.
• Liaise closely with parents/carers ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met.
• Assist with the planning of the curriculum and record keeping.
• Administer basic first aid as required.
• Set up the playroom for the daily programme and to help tidy away at the end of the session.
