EYFS Phase Leader Role

Nursery or Reception Class Available to teach. Borough of Kingston. Start: January 2026. Full Academic Year Maternity Contract with opportunities to become permanent.

Excellent in School and Trust Wide CPD to help you develop in your role. Good OFSTED Report. MPS/UPS Inner London with TLR.

We are working with a brilliant two‑form entry Primary school in Kingston to appoint a creative and enthusiastic EYFS Phase Leader to join their happy and successful team. The role has become available due to maternity leave and can be offered with a start in January 2026.

This role is suited for an existing EYFS Phase Leader or an experienced EYFS Class Teacher ready to join a genuinely happy EYFS team. You will love your work and ensure your Nursery and Reception class get the best education possible, while having a wonderful time!

Our school is on a large site with a fantastic space for Nursery and Reception that encourages indoor and outdoor EYFS work and play. The EYFS department is bright, light, colourful, where messy play is encouraged and all the children thoroughly enjoy Forest school and learning outside. The EYFS team is supported well by the school's fantastic SENCo who ensures the school's littlest people get off to a great start. Special Education Needs are identified quickly and are supported to manage barriers to learning so children make the best possible progress.
