Location and Contract

Location: Irlam, Salford

Contract Type: Full‑time, Term‑time only

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £102+ a day (dependant on experience)

Role

As a valued member of the EYFS and SEN team, you will support children with additional learning needs through engaging, sensory‑based, play‑led activities and the implementation of EHCP targets.

  • Support a small group of children with additional learning needs in the school’s early years provision
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher and SENCo to deliver engaging, sensory‑based and play‑led activities
  • Contribute to implementing and reviewing EHCP targets, ensuring each child receives the right level of support
  • Encourage independence, communication and social interaction through tailored learning experiences
  • Use creative approaches to support children with Autism, Speech & Language difficulties and developmental delay
  • Promote a safe, caring and stimulating environment where every child can thrive
About You
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare – essential
  • Previous experience working within an SEN or Early Years setting
  • Compassionate, patient and committed to inclusive practice
  • Knowledge of EYFS framework, SEND strategies and early intervention techniques
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team
  • Passionate about helping children achieve their potential in a supportive and nurturing environment
