Qualifications

• Significant experience of teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Ability to inspire, support and develop colleagues through effective leadership.
• Experience monitoring pupil progress and using assessment data to improve outcomes.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the EYFS, ensuring high standards of teaching and pupil outcomes.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching initiatives to enhance progress and development.
• Lead planning, monitoring and evaluation of EYFS provision with a broad, engaging curriculum.
• Oversee assessment of Early Learning Goals in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Analyze pupil data and create action plans to drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop EYFS staff and model outstanding teaching in the classroom.
• Foster strong partnerships with parents and communicate pupil achievement and wellbeing.
• Represent the School at EYFS networks and professional forums to share best practice.
• Support recruitment, events, and wider community engagement across Surbiton High.
