Job summary

Evo Personnel Ltd. is recruiting for an experienced Extrusion Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Haslingden. This permanent role offers a salary of £35,000–£38,000 per year DOE and benefits, with continental 12-hour day and night shifts.

Ideal candidates will have extrusion or plastics experience, confidently operating industrial machinery and maintaining high quality standards in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with extrusion, plastics, polymers or similar manufacturing environments.
• Confident operating and monitoring industrial machinery.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor extrusion machinery.
• Ensure production lines run safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machine settings, temperatures, speeds and production output.
• Carry out regular quality checks on finished products.
• Identify and report defects or production issues.
• Make basic machine adjustments where required.
• Complete production paperwork and accurately record manufacturing data.
• Assist with machine changeovers and line set-ups.
• Work towards production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised production area.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to minimise downtime.
