Job description

We are looking for Extrusion Operatives to work at our site in Leominster. This is ongoing work with the potential to become a permanent member of the team. The successful candidates will have at least 2 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Duties:

• Operating and monitoring extrusion machines
• Checking raw materials are correct, then loading onto machines
• Housekeeping of extrusion lines, recycling units, packaging automation and associated equipment
• Ensure extruder pressures, amps, melt temperatures, frost lines and raw material feed are monitored at all times
• Monitor and manage line output rates, utilisation, scrap levels, quality issues and yield against plan/targets on each line
• Potential to be working at height

Shifts:

• working 4 on / 4 off (2 days and 2 nights)
• 12 hours days and nights
• 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am

Pay Rate:

• £14.50 per hour
• £21.75 per hour after standard weekly hours
