This permanent Extrusion Operative position in Swansea offers a salary of £33,706 to £35,271 and involves 12-hour rotating shifts. Working within a manufacturing setting, the successful candidate will run and monitor extrusion machinery, ensuring output targets are met safely and efficiently. Duties include maintaining quality standards, completing relevant documentation, and keeping the work area tidy. Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Swansea, is currently looking to recruit an Extrusion Operator to join their production team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The Role

• Work towards departmental targets for safety, quality, productivity and waste reduction.
• Carry out routine quality checks and ensure products meet required specifications.
• Complete all production documentation and reports accurately.
• Monitor machine performance and identify any faults or process issues.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting and elevate maintenance concerns when required.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene within the production area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing downtime.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
