Job summary

The successful candidate will manage external contractors to ensure compliance and the successful delivery of Planned Works programmes. We're seeking an experienced External Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of Planned Works programmes across a wide area. You'll manage external contractors, ensure compliance, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Specify, procure, and manage contracts for planned works and compliance programmes.
• Prepare tender documentation and manage procurement to achieve best value.
• Oversee project delivery in line with CDM and Health & Safety regulations.
• Monitor budgets, contractor performance, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve performance or customer issues.
• Collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

• HNC in a building-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of construction and housing regulations (CDM, Asbestos).
• Proven track record in contract management and procurement.
• Excellent project management, financial, and IT skills.
• Full driving licence and flexibility to travel.
