Job summary

First People Solutions is partnering with leading consulting engineers to grow their Building Structures teams in Glasgow and Edinburgh. We are recruiting Project, Senior and Principal Structural Engineers to deliver a range of building projects across residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare and education sectors.

Ideal candidates will have consulting/design experience, strong structural design across steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry, and proficiency with Tekla, Revit,

Qualifications

• Experience in a consulting engineering/design environment.
• Strong structural design across steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
• Experience using Tekla, Revit, TEDDS, Robot, SCIA or AutoCAD.
• Ability to lead design teams and deliver projects through all design stages.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of building projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Manage client relationships and technical ownership.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary design teams.

Jobs: Project / Senior / Principal Structural Engineer

Locations: Glasgow | Edinburgh

First People Solutions is working with a number of leading consulting engineers that are continuing to grow their Building Structures teams across the Central Belt.

With a strong pipeline of work, they're looking to recruit Project, Senior and Principal Structural Engineers. We're keen to speak with structural engineers who have experience delivering a range of building projects across sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare and education.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working within a consulting engineering/design environment
• Strong structural design experience across steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry
• Experience using industry-standard software such as Tekla, Revit, TEDDS, Robot, SCIA or AutoCAD
• Experience working within multidisciplinary design teams and delivering projects through all design stages

For Senior & Principal level applicants, you'll also have:

• Experience leading the design and delivery of building projects
• The ability to mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians
• Experience managing client relationships and taking technical ownership of projects
• Chartered status, or be working towards Chartership
