Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in West Yorkshire is seeking an Express Store Manager to lead a small team in one of our Express stores. You will drive sales, set standards and deliver KRAs while maintaining high levels of customer service and store presentation.

This role involves working on a rolling rota including weekends, evenings and some late nights. You will motivate colleagues, coach and develop talent, manage rotas and holidays, and contribute to pricing strategies and cost control.

Qualifications

• You'll be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change.
• You'll be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results and spot talent for development.
• You'll have good leadership and people skills and be a strong coach, role model and mentor who inspires the team to be the best they can be.
• At times you will need to deal with management issues such as disciplinary and grievances in a professional manager as well as manage rota planning and holidays.
