The Express Store Costs Analyst role plays a critical role in managing and controlling store‑level activities that drive operational expenditure. This includes monitoring and analysing key cost areas such as Employment Costs, Waste and Markdowns, Repairs and Maintenance, and other store‑related expenses. By delivering actionable insights and supporting cost‑reduction initiatives, the Store Costs Analyst helps safeguard profitability and enable sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse cost drivers and identify areas of concern, ensuring proactive management of expenditure.
  • Lead process improvements to uncover smarter, more efficient ways of working that reduce operational costs.
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams.
  • Ensure process compliance across all sites, partnering with Retail teams to address gaps and drive adherence.
  • Adhere to the hybrid way of working (minimum 3 days a week in a Home Office, with possible additional on‑site days).
