A UK manufacturer of plastic housewares (laundry, storage, cleaning) is looking to grow their customer base in Europe. This is a remote working role with international travel.

£Depending on Experience + Car Allowance + Performance Related Bonuses + Private Medical + Enhanced Pension

THE COMPANY

A UK housewares manufacturer known for their innovative and high-quality plastic housewares (laundry, storage, cleaning). They are looking to hire an Export Sales Manager to continue to grow their international customer base. The business has a good support system in place with compliance and export teams in-house and a direct report to manage your admin and order processing. Being a UK manufacturer, they have the market advantage of being able to react quickly to customer requirements – scaling up production at short notice, delivering on tight deadlines, and adapting production to bespoke requests.

THE ROLE

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Create and implement tailored sales strategies for each country.
• Identify new sales leads, pitch products, and build relationships with retailers in France, Germany, Spain and the Benelux.
• Negotiate commercial terms and secure agreements with key customers.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to adapt ranges for local markets.
• Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the brand, the products, and generate new business.
• Prepare and present reports providing insight on sales, markets, and trends.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will need to have demonstrable experience in international sales. You could be working as a Country Manager, Territory Manager, Regional Sales Manager, International Account Manager, Export Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Head of International Sales or similar. The business is open on product experience within Housewares, DIY, Kitchenware, Garden, DIY. This is a remote working role but you must be based in either the UK or Europe.
