A leading bakery product company is seeking an Export Sales Manager to manage a key portfolio in the European grocery channel. This role offers an excellent opportunity to significantly grow export sales while working with major retailers and distributors across Europe. Ideal candidates will have strong export sales experience, familiarity with international trading terms, and exposure to both retail and distributor channels. The position is based in Little London, offering a competitive salary package with additional benefits.

The main purpose of this role is to manage an existing portfolio of business in the (mainly) European Grocery channel. The account base has huge potential and the aim is to grow export sales significantly within the next three to five years. This is eminently possible, and this is a great opportunity for somebody who is a go getter, and really wants to make a name for themselves.
The job sells into the European retailers but via various European distributors. In terms of retailers, the job holder will be dealing with the likes of Carrefour, Migros, Auchan, Mercadona, Albert Heijn, Jumbo. In terms of distributors, the likes of Atlante (an Italian distributor). There will be quite a lot of NPD / Innovation, and the job holder will be involved in working closely with the NPD team. Export territories are yet to be decided but will likely include France, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg (Benelux).
