Job summary

MBDA in Stevenage are seeking a Project Officer to provide project and contract administration for a challenging portfolio of export contracts. This role sits across MBDA directorates and international customers, delivering timely and compliant outcomes.

You will support commercial execution, coordinate customer meetings and liaise with Shipping, Security and Export Control to ensure smooth deliveries and payments. Hybrid working available with security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the MBDA Export Contract Manager with the commercial execution of Export Contracts.
• Organise and prepare customer-facing meetings; post contract kick-off, progress and acceptance meetings.
• Engage with customers for routine administrative aspects, including document definition and delivery/payment coordination, letters of credit, bank guarantees and transportation.
• Coordinate with MBDA functions for customer deliveries, liaising with Shipping, Security and Export Control.
• Provide support during Customer-facing Factory Acceptance Tests and loading procedures at ports and during country acceptance.
• Support export control facilitators with export licence information and completion of export license tools.
• Interface with MBDA national companies to ensure coordination.

The UK Export Contract Management Team are looking for an ambitious project officer to provide project and contract administrative support to the delivery of a challenging portfolio of export contracts.

Salary: Circa £35,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

The UK Export Contract Management Team are looking for an ambitious project officer to provide project and contract administrative support to the delivery of a challenging portfolio of export contracts. This is an ideal opportunity to work across all MBDA directorates and functions as well as international customers.

You will:

• Support the MBDA Export Contract Manager with the commercial execution of Export Contracts.
• Organisation and preparation of Customer facing meetings; post contract kick-off, progress and acceptance meetings;
• Engage with Customers for routine administrative aspects, specifically document definition and coordination for delivery and payment as well as letter of credit, bank guarantees and transportation;
• Preparation and coordination with involved functions within MBDA for customer deliveries in close liaison with Shipping, Security and Export Control functions;
• Provide support during Customer facing Factory Acceptance Tests at MBDA sites for a variety of MBDA products as well as assisting loading procedures at departure ports and during Customers' acceptance in the concerned country;
• Support Project Export Control Facilitators in the provision of information pertaining to export licence condition fulfilment, and completion of the export license tools;
• Interface with MBDA national companies to ensure coordination
