Job summary

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a part-time, fixed-term Band 7 senior clinical nurse specialist for the haemato-oncology service. You will deliver expert nursing care, manage a patient caseload, and lead development of evidence-based practice in collaboration with primary and secondary care to improve patient outcomes.

You will contribute to staff education, participate in audits, and work closely with MDTs while ensuring patient and family engagement throughout

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with current registration.
• Advanced clinical assessment skills and ability to manage complex cases.
• Evidence-based nursing practice knowledge and guideline familiarity.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead expert specialist nursing service for haemato-oncology patients.
• Provide nursing advice to patients and families following diagnosis and through treatment.
• Maintain high standards of evidence-based care and accurate patient records.
• Manage a caseload, run clinics, and contribute to policy development.
