Job summary

Emota is seeking a mid-level Environments Designer to join our Environments team, crafting experiential spaces across trade shows, pop-ups and immersive installations. You’ll collaborate with designers, project managers and suppliers to develop concepts, 3D visuals, 2D drawings and production-ready deliverables that elevate client experiences.

Qualifications

• A creative spark for problem-solving and a natural instinct for designing experiential spaces that shape how people feel, move and interact.
• Confidence taking projects from initial concepts through to developed designs.
• Familiarity with 3D modelling, 2D CAD and Adobe Creative Suite software.
• Understanding of sustainable design principles and their application in materials and production.
• Interest in AI tools and how they can be integrated into design workflows.
• Willingness to learn from others and develop your craft.
• 1+ years experience within the exhibition or related spatial design industry.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to understand client briefs and help shape the creative direction.
• Participate in ideation sessions and communicate ideas clearly using sketches or mood boards.
• Create 3D visuals and 2D drawings using industry-standard software.
• Research materials and technologies to push environment design boundaries.
• Collaborate with suppliers to refine concepts and bring ideas to life.
• Join project meetings with internal teams and clients to present designs.
• Visit onsite builds to support production and see ideas realised.
