Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting children in an educational setting.
  • Willingness to obtain a CHILD DBS on the yearly update service.
  • Ability to provide two references showing previous experience working with children or young people.

A popular, welcoming and well respected primary school are looking for a dedicated Experienced Y3 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team on an on going basis from January 2026. If you’re passionate about helping children thrive, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Y3 Teaching Assistant you will:

Support groups of students and 1:1 who need additional support outside the classroom & within class settings depending on their needs that day

Assist the class teacher with resources, activities, and daily tasks

Help with playground supervision and other daily school duties

Maintain a positive, organised and safe learning environment

Build strong, supportive relationships with children, staff, and families

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Enthusiastic, patient, and child-centred

A great communicator with a warm approach

A team player who can take initiative

Experienced in supporting children in an educational setting and supporting KS2 / SEN
