Job description

A superb opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work within a busy Goods In department on the Bardon Estate, Coalville.

This is an immediate start - temporary contract which could lead to a permanent job.

Well established manufacturer - small, friendly team need a new colleague with a good attitude, reliable, hard working and great attention to detail.

Day shift - Working 36.5 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours, Fridays 6.5 hours - the company are currently switching to flexi‑time.

Responsibilities
  • Loading & Unloading vehicles - when suitably qualified this will include Forklift driving.
  • Working within ISO quality standards
  • Dealing with customer returns and complaints
  • Organise and sorting jobs coming in
  • Answering the door and attending to drivers
  • Check incoming goods against purchase orders and issued certificate to ensure compliance
  • Inspecting components dimensionally and visually based on drawings
  • Verify equipment conforms to standards and customer requirements prior to booking in to stock
  • Ensure products are undamaged and meet specification requirements from suppliers
  • Catch quality issues early to prevent delays
  • Manage certification on the WMS system
  • Ensure traceability documentation is completed accurately
