Job summary

Rutland House Veterinary Hospital, a tier 3 training hospital near Liverpool and Manchester, is seeking an experienced vet to join our certificate-focused team. You’ll consult and perform neutering and small surgical procedures, with sole charge branch work 50% of your time and hospital backup if needed.

We offer a 4-day week, 6.6 weeks leave, £1,750 CPD allowance plus 1 week CPD, VDS, RCVS, BSAVA/BVA paid, and a salary range £44,000–£65,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Experienced veterinary surgeon with focus on clinical care.
• Ability to work up cases to a high standard.
• Confident in neutering and small surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Consulting and performing neutering and small surgical procedures.
• Sole charge branch work ~50% of time or branch-only with hospital backup if preferred.
