Job summary

Selby Vets for Pets is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive team and utilise clinical skills with autonomy in a busy, established practice.

You will manage varied medical and surgical cases, supported by excellent equipment and a skilled nursing team, while having opportunities to pursue certificates and career development.

Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE + £5,000 Welcome Bonus

Hours: 40 hours per week | 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00am - 4:00pm)

The Opportunity

As an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, you'll play a key role within our clinical team, managing a varied medical and surgical caseload while working alongside highly skilled colleagues. You'll have the freedom to work cases up to a high standard, with the support, equipment, and experienced nursing team needed to deliver exceptional patient care.

We actively encourage Vets to pursue their clinical interests and are happy to support certificates, whether your passion lies in ophthalmology, behaviour, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, or another discipline.

You'll be joining an experienced team led by our Clinical Lead, who has over 26 years of veterinary experience, creating an environment where knowledge sharing and continuous learning are part of everyday practice.
