Are you a highly experienced Property Manager with the confidence and capability to take full ownership of your portfolio? Our client, a respected independent estate agency with over 30 years of success, is seeking a skilled Property Manager to join their professional team in Hertford.

This is a great opportunity for a proven Property Manager who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment and enjoys the autonomy of managing their portfolio from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Managing landlord and tenant relationships, providing expert advice and support.
• Coordinating maintenance, inspections, and safety certifications with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Preparing and serving Section 8 and Section 21 notices.
• Handling renewals, terminations, and deposit returns.
• Ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance across your portfolio.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting to the Head of Property Management.
• Taking ownership of more complex cases and ensuring swift, professional resolution.

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive residential property management experience.
• A thorough understanding of lettings legislation and compliance.
• Proven experience handling Section 8 and Section 21 notices (essential).
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload independently.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A calm, solution-focused approach and sound professional judgement.
• Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle.
• (ARLA qualification is desirable but not essential.)
